LED Traffic Light Projects

LED (light emitting diode) technology is currently available for traffic lights. Studies show that LED traffic lights reduce the amount of energy use by 85 to 90% over incandescent lighting, representing a decrease in cost of approximately 80%. Apart from being energy-saving, LED traffic signal lights are brighter and last for years. LED traffic signal lights can withstand a wide range of temperature(-40℃~80℃), which enables them to be suitable for outdoor application. Therefore, more and more cities are replacing traditional light with LED traffic lights.
Chevy Light have a lot of projects of LED traffic signals, LED traffic light modules/cores, LED pedestrian lights, LED countdown timers, intelligent traffic controllers, solar warning signs and so on. Here we present some of the typical projects for your reference.

	Chevy Light LED Traffic Light Project In Dominican Republic
	Date:	June, 2011
	Description:	Since 2010, Chevy Light has started cooperation with one of the biggest LED traffic light suppliers in Dominican Republic-GTEC. Until now, we have successfully installed our LED traffic light in several intersections there and in the near future will get LED traffic lights installed in more than 100 intersections. Those LED traffic lights include RYG full ball lights with three or four units, solar yellow flashing light, countdown timer and so on. 	Chevy Light LED Traffic Light Project In Honduras
	Date:	November, 2009
	Description:	In Honduras, we have installed more than 80 intersections crossing, 1000 set led traffic light module, and pedestrian light. Hondurus is located in the north of central South America, close to Caribbean Sea. When Columbus sailed here in 1502, he was seriously caught by the violent sea waves and thus named this country Hondurus, meaning “bottomless abyss” in Spanish. Read more......

	Chevy Lightr LED Traffic Light Project In Chile
	Date:	September, 2008
	Description:	Since the last project in March 2009, Chevy Light starts another project in Chile. Our customer bought 1500 light cores and repalced some failed incandescent traffic light cores in his city. In this way, he can save a lot of energy and costs as there is no need for him to throw away the existing housing. The installation process has undergone quite conveniently and successfully. 	Chevy Light LED Traffic Lights Project In Chile

	Description:	In South America, besides Bolivia and Hondurus, Chevy Light also has projects in Chile. We’ve installed about 800 sets traffic signals in this country. Here is one of the project photos. Chile is in the southwest of South America and across the sea it is Antarctica. Thus, it is often called as “a country at the end of world” by its citizens. 	Chevy Light LED Traffic Lights Project In Hubei China
	Date:	May , 2007
	Description:	After the last successful project, Chevy Light has taken over another project in Hubei Province, China. 1000 sets LED light cores have been installed to replace the original light cores. LED light cores are brighter, yet consume much less energy. In addition, they have a longer service life –nearly 50,000 hours than tradtional incandescent lights. There is no need to replace them for a quite a long time. Therefore, replacing traditional lights by LED traffic lights means saving millions of dollars.
